Modugula Kalavathamma Institute Of Technology for Women(MKITW) was established in the year 2008 with a single-minded aim of giving students a perfect platform to build their future in the field of Technology and Management. MKITW is promoted by the Sri tallapaka Annamacharya Educational Society.

The college has a rich tradition of pursuing academic excellence and overall personal growth. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Anantapur. It provides various undergraduates and post graduates courses including B.Tech and MBA . It stands in the forefront to create effective leadership for facilitating dynamic technological advances and to encourage students to play a more significant role in driving those dynamic technological advances.

The institute is situated on Chennai –kadapa highway. It is about 3 kms from Rajampeta town and 45 Kms from Kadapa. The nearest Railway station is at Rajampet.

MKITW is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to JNT University, Anantapur, offering B.Tech (EEE, ECE, CSE, IT), and MBA courses.

The college buildings are architecturally designed as per AICTE norms.
